Package did not pass security screening?

Hi all,

I have sent my friend a package of holiday gift which is a Ted Baker toiletries product, stupid me I did not know that this package also has one small spray perfume inside a small Ted Baker bag, with also small bottle of soap. Okay, that is my mistake. Also inside the bag I slipped in a t shirt and a greetings card.

As suggested this will not pass the security screening, however when I got the package back to my address. Only the t-shirt and the card inside the torn apart envelope.
Where is the expensive Ted Baker bag? Where is the bottle of soap? I believe when they take out my t-shirt they see the bag and see the rest of contents of the bag?
What happened with them?

I am very cynical about it been destroyed.

Also, what is the constellation price of a customer here? This is an international package, I spent like £ 16 for it, and not only I wasted my money for nothing, my goods vanished, just like that? I mean how dangerous can a bag be?

I really need somebody to explain to me about this. I can not just understand it.

The bag is not dangerous it's the perfume inside that has been deemed dangerous to fly(not by royal mail by the way) the offending item containing the perfume will have been removed and disposed of (note disposed not destroyed) unfortunately there is no compensation as you made the error
