Anyhow, this evening I totalled up a couple of cheques for £92.25 in respect of the recorded delivery fees that I paid yet the service wasn't carried out, do the sums and you will see just how much I alone am let down by RM failings. I guess my loss is not your worry or concern, nor is the extra work you put on the Business Customer Service Advisors not forgetting the extra cost which is counted as a loss on to RM.
Never mind it won't be long now until those colourful envelopes start to appear again. I shall save my communication for when I email Mr. Crozier and the rest of the board for rewarding my regular postie or those that do the job without much moan or without lack of effort.
How about you stop using Royal Mail full stop and use someone else? Other courier operators will gladly take your business for you.....
Your just another one of those people that whines and moans about how crap Royal Mail is now and how useless the Posties are because they don't do their job properly. The fact of the matter is the fault lies at the feet of people like you for allowing the government to open up the postal market to competition. It worked great before when it was a public service and put service before profit, now it's meant to be a business that makes profit and your upset that the quality of service is dire at times...

.
When I started RM wasn't an easy job to get into, you spent time in a classroom learning how to do the job, then you shadowed a postie to observe/be supervised doing the job and finally you were put on delivery. Now new starters come in scruffy as f**k with sawdust between their ears, get a pouch chucked over their shoulder and given a map; then told "off you go".
That's only the tip of the iceberg of what's wrong, you only have to read through these forums for a day or so to get a grasp of what rampant cost cutting in the name of profit has done to a once proud public service. I'm amazed that the quality of service is still as high as it is given what's been done to Royal Mail by the likes of Crozier and Leighton if it wasn't for many posties showing loyalty to the customer (loyalty you wouldn't from companies like TNT, DHL etc) things would be much much worse.
Instead of coming on here making ill informed comments and complaining maybe you should take a broader look at the situation.
