Langley Heathrow WDC international outbound: after a few days, success
Decently satisfied,
I have no doubt that you feel like that. But if you read the many threads on this subject in this forum you will see that the issue is with mail coming in to the UK.. Mail leaving the UK rarely has any issues because customs don't really handle outbound mail.

Firstly, we aren't Royal Mail, so we can't answer your question as such.
Secondly, this item is almost certainly stuck in UK customs. Occasionally items have to wait 2-3 weeks there before being cleared to enter the UK, at which point Royal Mail receives them and tracking starts again.

Hi, instead of creating a new thread I thought I'd use this one - hope this is OK.
I am waiting for a letter from NL which appears to be stuck in customs. The PostNL tracker simply states that it has arrived in country of destination (UK), but has no further tracking info available to state it is indeed in HWDC.
Are there currently backlogs in HWDC? It arrived in UK (apparently) on 16th October which seems excessive.
RN715519547NL is tracking info, thanks for any help in advance.

More than OK!jgomis84 wrote:Hi, instead of creating a new thread I thought I'd use this one - hope this is OK.
Delays of 2-4 weeks are fairly common but this is slightly over that, at a time when complaints of delays seem to have gone down a bit. If it isn't received by Friday you need to submit a claim form via PostNL.jgomis84 wrote:I am waiting for a letter from NL which appears to be stuck in customs. Parcel stuck at heathrow
I bought an item off ebay on the 22/10/2016 it was posted via Malaysia Post on the 28/10/2016, I paid extra postage so I would receive the item in time for my holiday but when looking at the Malaysia Post tracking page on the internet its states that the parcel reached Heathrow airport on the 8/11/2016 and has resided there since, How can a parcel remain at there for over 2 weeks with no notice given to ether the sender or the receiver? I find this wrong in many ways, Please find out about my item, If i do not receive it before tomorrow 24/11/2016 I will not accept this item and you can pay the return postage back to the sender. Tracking number Malaysia Post: SYBPL00824329

We are not Royal Mail, we can't find your package for you. Neither can Royal Mail actually, it appears to be stuck in customs so RM haven't received it yet. Complaints if this type should be taken up with the seller.

Also that tracking number doesn't work with Royal Mail systems so it won't be tracked in the UK anyway.

Parcel stuck at heathrow
Tracking # LB392721659GB
In a bit of a departure from the rest of the thread, I'm trying to get a parcel through Heathrow to the US. It arrived at Heathrow: 23/11/16 03:25 ARRIVED (MDN) AT HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC. It hasn't moved since. I was wondering if it normally took seven days for a parcel to leave the country. I assumed customs would be handled in the US.
Any information would be appreciated.

It depends if you want to take the tracking at face value or not. Royal Mail have had serious problems with their tracking system recently, so it might be that you item has gone on the plane and is waiting to go through US customs. If you take it exactly as it's written then the item was stopped at the point where they examine for dangerous goods, and there have been some slight delays at that stage recently. Just to eliminate it as a possibility, what was inside the parcel?

It was an inexpensive engraved pen. I can't see that as flagging though.
