It's probably been delivered to a company which then forwards it onto you using RM (in this case Tracked)

I brought the item on Monday and it was dispatched Tuesday. The Royal Mail status showed change, Pre-advice Received on Wednesday and yesterday it reached a Royal Mail depot and now its at Gatwick hopefully on its way to Crawley rather than the airport ha. Seriously I'm totally confused to be honest I'll ask the seller whats gone on when I receive the item.

Hello. I got the parcel lunchtime and it had a Tracked 48 sticker on it. Theres no sign of any other sticker on it. The sender says his freight handler/forwarder dealt with it.

Certainly possible if they are a large business. Depending on the unit size, value and longevity, It could be cheaper to send items in bulk to the UK in a container and then get another company to send them onwards when you get orders. It doesn't mean they are falsely advertising as the country of origin remains the same.
