I implied because your quote was give them a few jobs and they might have less time for rioting do you honestly think that was a good quote to make. and like it is today it is nothing to do with jobs more like sectarianism and I don't think even if we all had jobs that it will ever end.Lounge Lizard wrote:No, not at all funny and I've no idea how you could imply that, and you surely don't deny that although historic divisions may have been the root cause of the Troubles they were fuelled by poverty and unemployment, and other factors too.aiden01 wrote:So you find the troubles in Belfast were funny you idiot surprised that post was,nt removed a lot of innocent people lost their lives don't find it very funny.Lounge Lizard wrote:Yes, doesn't Warrington put it all in a container for the ferry ?barrowc wrote:As far as I now, it goes over on the ferry
Belfast seems an out-of-the-way place this, but maybe it was decided during 'The Troubles' that making a few jobs over there might give less spare time for rioting.![]()
It's much the same as the Government realising jobs needed to be devolved from London and spread around the UK a bit more fairly, like DVLA to Swansea, National Savings to Glasgow, etc.

Aiden, Having called others on here "bullshitter", "arse licker", "liar", etc. and swearing on here like a trooper with "feck that then", "A load of bollocks", "No feckin chance", "we will get f..k all", "they think your happy rip off c...ts", etc, etc. I would have thought that you would be the last person on here to question whether that "was a good quote to make".aiden01 wrote:I implied because your quote was give them a few jobs and they might have less time for rioting do you honestly think that was a good quote to make. and like it is today it is nothing to do with jobs more like sectarianism and I don't think even if we all had jobs that it will ever end.Lounge Lizard wrote:No, not at all funny and I've no idea how you could imply that, and you surely don't deny that although historic divisions may have been the root cause of the Troubles they were fuelled by poverty and unemployment, and other factors too.aiden01 wrote:So you find the troubles in Belfast were funny you idiot surprised that post was,nt removed a lot of innocent people lost their lives don't find it very funny.Lounge Lizard wrote:Yes, doesn't Warrington put it all in a container for the ferry ?barrowc wrote:As far as I now, it goes over on the ferry

You say "it is nothing to do with jobs" so, if your memory stretches back thirty years, do you suggest that with the rioting in Brixton, Handsworth, Toxteth, etc. it was just a coincidence that these were areas that suffered high unemployment ?
And was your "Don't forget she may have not murdered anyone but she caused many many death,s of innocent people" comment about Thatcher, with while incidentally I agree, to do with Northern Ireland ?
