Their Distribution centre is in Basingstoke so there should be very little if any delay at all. :hmmmm However Play do say on their own website http://www.game.co.uk/Help/~h9823/Despatch/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Closure of UK airspace
Please be aware the closure of UK airspace and airspace in parts of Europe unfortunately continues to affect the transport of mail by air and could cause delays with delivery of orders. This is impacting upon some UK domestic mail and mail due to either leave or enter the country via UK airports.
Also your local delivery office is unlikely to have it as they should operate a clear office policy. Packet post is normally 3 to 5 day service so hopefully it may turn up tomorrow.

I hope is does turn up it sounds important to you.
Supposed to be a Birthday Present for Sister.

Since nothing arrived I came to the conclusion that they're holding it for whatever reason, once the post starts arriving again hopefully it will be there (although it should of came Friday)

I very much doubt it is lost. 2nd Class normally 3-5 working days, what with the transportation issues of the past week it will probably be delayed by a couple of days. So don't get so stressed.

The website says:

All UK orders 2 business days

The only 3-5 Business days are:

Europe Royal Mail 3 to 5 business days £2.95 per order

Still hoping though .. Surprised only 2 letters came today, should of been 3 days worth of post.

2nd class - the delivery aim is 3 days. I'm bored now, get some patience or go shopping in town.

Takes a while form there anyway of course,plus now the delay,possible couple of weeks i think.
Also why/how would it be on Parcelforces's website? Nothing to do with them.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

With Royal Mail and Parcel force Tracked numbers (regies, registered international etc) both companies can be tracked on each others websites.
