I’d say it might have got missed in the office for some reason and by scanning no answer they might get out of paying out compensation you are owed if it isn’t delivered on that day. We were over run with tracked (LATS) late on yesterday and a few of them were scanned as no answer by the managers who would miss out on grubby bonus money if they were just honest and said sorry we don’t have the staff to clear these they can go tomorrow.

It just occurred to me, that a manager who does this gets paid extra for doing literally nothing.

That money could be spent towards extra staff at Xmas, for example. As in; spent on something better than a lie.

I mean, do regular posties get the same bonus as the managers? I'm gonna guess not. What a world we live in!

Must tip my postie tomorrow - but he just pushes stuff through (even SD) and is off - he's always super busy so I never get the chance.
