RM TRACKED 48 STUCK IN BRISTOL MC - HELP!

I have a Tracked 48 parcel that the recipient accidentally gave me wrong postcode (G instead of GL). the parcel bounced around in glasgow for a week before being returned to Bristol 3 days ago where it has sat, according to the tracking, wondering what the hell to do with itself.

This parcel is really urgent, of £200 value, and even though its the customers fault they entered the postcode wrong i need to get it to them ASAP else they cancel for a refund.

I realise its likely going to be returned to me eventually (rather than someone look at the label, see Cheltenham, and correct hte postcode to GL) but how long might this take?

I tried the RM contact centre who simply said theres nothing we can do, we cant change addresses on parcels (which I appreciate why, no-one actually knows where in Bristol MC it is). But is there anything I can do here??

Any help much appreciated.

Did you supply a return address?

If so it should be returned to you.

This often happens and the parcel bounces around for an unspecified amount of time until an actual human being spots it and checks the address and postcode and corrects the postcode for the associated town/city name written on the parcel. How long that might take is not something that is specified!

I've written the correct postcode on letters and parcels that arrive in our office loads of times.
