Can anyone help with this please?
I was on a waiting list and asked to be considered for a new post that came up. A week later I got an email - part of it said:
"You will now be considered along with other candidates, and we will notify you of the outcome as soon as possible.
As we can only process a single application, once you have been provisionally offered a vacancy you are removed from our waiting list. At this point you can disable your vacancy alert notification as you need no longer continue searching online as a conditional offer will be made to you subject to security checks."
The first sentence says I definitely haven't got anything yet but does the rest say I will be offered something though? It says "once you have been" not "if"! Am I just being too hopeful??
Quite a few posts on this forum seem to say you go on the waiting list then you get 'fast-tracked' - meaning you do get a job eventually??
I know I should just be patient but I can't help wondering!!!!
Thanks in advance if anyone can help........
