Payslip
I started work on Thursday 29th November and worked 8 hours on that day, Friday and Saturday but got a payslip today which says i've earned £0.00 and the payment date on it says 07/12/2012. I was wondering if thats a mistake cause i thought whatever hours we work last week we get the next friday?

Re: Payslip
that should be the case, I worked 3 days last week and although I haven't received a payslip yet, I have money due to go in my bank tomorrow from angard staffing.
Its about £25 short so I guess I have been given a nasty tax code which isn't helpful at all

Re: Payslip
it says pay rate £248 at the top with the other information. At the bottom of the pay slip letter, it just shows deduction, gross, net pay etc as 0.00. Is that the correct pay rate for night shift 22.30 till 6 mon - sat by the way ? and the pay rate means that i will be paid 248 next week ?dontstopbelievin wrote:does it say £0.00 though? my first one did, you will be paid next Fridayhomz156 wrote:i just started this week Monday 3rd December i have just received a pay slip today stating that i will be paid this Friday, the 7th. is that correct ? ain't it meant to be next week Friday ?

Re: Payslip
If its a RM pay slip then the £248 pay rate is for a full week at 39/40 hours so you need to do a bit of maths. A rough guide would be £6.20 an hour.homz156 wrote:it says pay rate £248 at the top with the other information. Re: Payslip
This will depend upon whether you are working for Angard or Royal Mail. Royal Mail pay week goes from Monday to Sunday : Angard pay week goes from Saturday to Friday (Friday nights will be considered Saturday for pay as it finishes after the cut off time for payroll).wamdue wrote:that is fine, thanks.meggie wrote:Saturday starts the new week you will get that next weekwamdue wrote:stupid question but I started on the Wednesday28th, and worked 28th, 29th, 30th & Saturday 1st, would I be paid for Saturday on this weeks payslip or not, as ive only been paid for 3 days.

Re: Payslip
im Royal Mail this year, which suggests I should have gotten paid for that Saturday.
For the record I was Wed-Saturday, days.
Looks like I am missing a day, speak to my line manager I guess (as paperwork says)

Re: Payslip
to be fair to the Royal Mail, I contacted them Friday lunch time, they said they didnt pay me for Saturday, and they will add it to my pay next week, a much easier process than Angard.
