Im terrible with pensions. All I know is I've paid the top rate pretty much since I joined in 2013 plus I have around £2000 in AVC which I believe went into Scottish Widows.
I'm 53 now!!
I've left RM and have joined the council which is an LGPS scheme and I have a year to transfer anything into it. With that in mind:-
-Who do I contact within RM
-Which pots could I transfer as I may have 2-3 with them in that time. I think the latest plan is the collective one I'm in.
Really I need some independent advice too about what is the right thing to do. I'm not really interested in taking anything out at 55 I don't think. I may have accumulated around £60k in total but unsure so. I don't want to do the wrong thing so any pointers would be great. Thank you
