Day one was spend proposing ammendments

Day two has been spent debating / carrying / rejecting ammendents

Ward will meet Royal Mail tomorrow - and PEC are on standby to meet and vote on the final document

No real details of deal to add to from Yesterday. Vibes are that if you are strong office / branch this agreement will be good for you. If you are weaker it will not. Not very good union approach (only as strong as your weakest member) - I suppose it would mean any scab offices getting shafted big time which is always a bonus!!

Pensions has been de-coupled from pay and 60 day consultation in law will take place! CWU will reserve right to ballot all Royal Mail group members if pensions deal is not good enough

SORRY ITS NOT TOO DETAILED!!

Does this mean we are to be negotiating on an office by office basis for conditions? Does this affect the MTSF or IR Framework? Might we just as well put in an office by office wage claim?

If I was to hire a brick layer to build me a wall I wouldn't expect him to throw a load of bricks, sand and cement in my front garden. I would expect him to do what I'd paid him for.
