My my, that told him....
Although who could take any party seriously when it uses a word like "bankster"?
I wonder if the Far Left and Far Right have a competition to see who can use the worst cliche or the most purple prose... :hmmmm

I didn't think RMC was set up to promulgate racist crap.
And yes they are fascists.
Not it wasn't but when people like yourself come on here to start a thread to call the BNP fascists and call on people to fight them on the streets perhaps there needs to be a bit of redress?

You are supporting violent action against law abiding political activists. Ironically THAT IS THE ACTION OF A FASCIST. By definition, YOU are the fascist not the BNP. :left:

opgpat: Sounds great! fasicsts always telling workers we will insist on British jobs for British workers. Reality capitalism will not allow it.
So how are you going to trade? 2.5 million Brits work in Europe are they going to be sent back as countires start to retaliate?
Bankers withdraw from Britain set up somewhere else.
Free enterprise means no restrictions so thats British jobs for British workers gone then! How do businesses make money every year? by cutting operational costs!
Corporate law concieved in USA and I would like to see the BNP try and get them to change it!
Living in cockoo land.
USA in hock to China in the tune of billions
Where is the BNP going to get its money from because financial monopolies would be laughing their socks off!
But well done for trying.

This is total nonsense. You are basically saying - abandon all principles because they will rock the Capitalist boat.

Free enterprise is anything but free. The 'Free trade' we enjoy so much is reliant on slave-wage jobs in the third world and asia. A lot of the goods in our shops are made in sweat-shops by children or adults or in slave-like factories where employees have no rights. Is that free enterprise? Free for who? You are being taken for a muppet by big buisness and you are buying into the big con because it suits you fine. Well done you.

Sorry RMC as an entity (if it can be :Very Happy ) must and will remain apolitical and as such we cannot stop people politely answering questions on their own political views or of the party they support.

In World War 2 this country fought 2 totalitarian states partly on the stance of defending Democracies. Being a democracy means that everyone has a right to hold their own views and to air them. If we start stopping people airing views just because we don't like then then I am afraid that for me is one step to far. The BNP are an anathema to me personally but I will defend their members rights to hold different views to me.

Surely there is a difference between answering questions on the party you support and using RMC to air the views of the party you actively campaign for.
If not, then why was one member asked to leave when they tried to get their BNP mates to come on RMC to "wind us up".
Asking him to leave doesn't look like an apolitical decision.

The request was because he instigated a "wind up" of RMC and get people from another forum to join to do just that, it was judged as against the spirit of the forum at the time (and would still be) it was not a decision based on the views of the posters but their actions.

Also we have plenty of people who air their support for SWP, Labour and the Greens so we cant say one rule for one and one rule for another. I understand you abhorrence of the BNP I share it, but people do support their political position and we operate in a democratic society.

Ultimately if people being members or supporters of the BNP offends you then you can make use of the Foe feature and their posts will disappear for you.

Absolutely right, millions of volunteers selflessly fought and died to protect the freedoms from fear and dictatorship that we enjoy in Europe today. Tyranny and dictatorship should never be accepted yet some so-called liberal minded people seem to think that denying others their legally accepted and expressed political beliefs is OK when infact that act of political intolerance is a prime example of the fascistic practice they claim to oppose. Hypocritical.

This really is a myth that democracy allows free speech.
Free speech is only allowed as long as it is lawful - even at Speaker's Corner.
Was the BNP constitution lawful? Was the very foundation on which that party stood lawful? No.
I understand the argument that the only solution to the abuse of freedom is more freedom. I just don't buy it.
No freedoms for the enemies of Freedom.
