It's not fair to generalise like that.

perhaps the flag is appropriate as being emblematic of the UK, given the parlous state of the nation and RMG in particular ,
or on the other hand is it just symbolic of RMG's lack of care and failure to acknowledge the roots and name of the organisation the ROYAL Mail Group!
either way in addition an upside down Union Flag is a sign of distress!!

The line manager told the DOM the flag needed a bit of attention.
He told the Area Manger it was OK for the time being.
He told the sector manager there were currently no issues with the flag.
He told a director the flag was proudly displayed.
He told Moya that it was the best flag in the best of all possible worlds.
There is even a survey in the Courier in which 99% of people on the ground swear it is the greatest flag they have ever seen.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

:chuckle :Applause :Applause

The Union added in a joint communication that we had to accept that flags were changing and it was more important to protect what was left of the flag rather than live in the past when flags were whole.

Ragged, ripped and hung upside down.

This picture shows the Union flag that hangs at the Royal Mail centre on Milner Street.

But the national flag's sorry state has lead to complaints sent in to the Guardian.

Royal Mail has yet to respond to requests for a comment.

What do you think

Terrible. That needs flagging up to management.

I thought when i first saw the picture someone was mucking around but then i saw the royal mail sign, the only thing that would be fit for is to put in the bin,it would be better not to have one at all rather than fly that.
