Afaik IHR lump sum is 34 weeks, plus up to 12 weeks PILON depending on length of service, plus pay for any outstanding AL.
Still less than half the maximum amount of 104 weeks for VR.

Do you get pilon then?. I just assumed you got the lump sum and that was it. So your probably looking around 16 to 17 grand then including your share money. I don't know why that guy said nearly 20. :hmmmm

The only point that I am sure has been made on this forum b4. Is, you will not be offered VR if you are on a stage 2 warning. I may have read the article wrongly though.

Ok thanks baldrick. I never knew that. As i say I've heard various figures being thrown about. Usually it's 15 grand but as i say for some reason that guy was 19.

That's not the "managers" pushing, but RM.
Not many employees are kept employed if the absence could extend to a year (or longer); it's government policy and has been for years now.

Hi Tman,even though the problem was caused by Royal Mail failing to follow it,s own procedueres that put me in to this state of affairs

That may well be the case, but unless you can prove it (which, I'm guessing is next to impossible) you're no further forward.

just to clarify ive been offered 34 weeks at basic and 12 weeks pilon and sharesnd , -/+ any holiday - finish date Fri 17.7.15 - £23214 ...Yippee! Test Book
