Put it this way - it ain’t gonna get any better at RM, only significantly worse. There’s no meat on the bones of this Union talk “You’re going to get more Saturdays off under this new way of working”.

I personally wouldn’t overly worry too much about the pension as I see you’ve only got 8 years in. Yes as someone pointed out RM make a decent contribution compared to lots of employers but (and I’m not being horrible here) there’s nothing to say that you’re ever going to reach the age of drawing it. If you think this new job offer is better for you in the here & now & your last few years of your working life then go for it. Don’t hang around here hoping for things to magically get better……..Good Luck in whatever you decide.

Obviously if Postman decides the board needs a financial correspondent you will be a shoo in for the post.
The fact remains that the employer contributions are significantly higher than a lot of other places.
Yep, it could be really runny and impossible to pick up instead of quite runny and DK picking it up.
