Tracked Items
Everyone will be tracking the arrival of items at the DO but is anyone tracking them if they are not delivered?

Thanks for that DOM - we are obviously not carrying out the procedure correctly. In truth no one seems to be responsible and no one seems to care.DOM wrote:They should be tracked when reaching the DO and if not delivered they should be scanned again with a reason for not being delivered. They are scanned again on collection or re-deliverydvbuk55 wrote:Or more to the point are we supposed to be tracking them back?

The sector that I work in are working hard on the quality of service with this product. In my office, I have 4 people trained on how to treat these tracked items and we get emails notifying us how many we are getting the following day and the addresses they are going to so there is no excuse for not scanning them.dvbuk55 wrote:Thanks for that DOM - we are obviously not carrying out the procedure correctly. They get left on a desk until a LM who knows how to scan the items back in can be bothered to do so, if they actually gave us a scanner in Callers I would happily scan them back in, at least I've got them to give the customers then. I've been given my user name and PIN but no scannerBroxi51 wrote:In our office our managers scan them in and hand to postie for delivery. If no answer we leave in DOMs office when we get back. Who knows what happenns to them after that.
