Re: Answer a few points
So if this gets rammed through quickly, how do you think they're going to dig delivery out of a hole this Christmas when it falls on a Friday. Will it be like the bins? Will they have us in on Sunday?
The machine stops.

Re: Answer a few points
I've a feeling that we will be delivering on the 26th this year and it will be a normal Sunday for those who have to work Sunday, obviously hope I'm proved wrong

Why would the current RM want to request giving us an extra days holiday?mr hil. wrote: ↑24 Oct 2025, 22:12Ofcom agreed in 2015 that whenever Boxing day falls on a Saturday it will automatically be a non service day and Royal Mail would not have to request this again![]()

The OFCOM ruling is just saying that RM don't have to supply a service on the 26th not saying that it can't.
Again I hope I'm wrong but the 26/12 is still showing as a working day on the leave calendar

The only MC staff it affects are mech staff, as to what RM decide to do with the mech on Fridays. I doubt many MC will bother to vote, only unless they think it's tied into the pay deal.
