I suppose like a majority of offices then, a savings based revision isn't going to work if the office has already been cut to the bone but then RM can't see that.

Plus, I wouldn't vote on any revision that won't work just for a few quid..........let them put it in by EA I say :Very Happy

But an Area Rep will sign it off over your heads and deny you even the option of a rule 13 ballot. Brilliant. :Very Happy
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

The Area Rep would find himself waking up next to a horses head if he did (that's right, we have a Sarah Jessica Parker look-a-like work in our office  ).

Seriously, it's not up to them, it's up to the unit rep and if they do do it then I would say it would be the end of the union completely in my office.

The one in my office, we've been a strong office but it's hard to continually justify the union when we are screwed at every turn, the area rep signing any agreement over the unit rep would be the end.

The sad fact is it could have worked if only RM hadn't been too greedy and expected too much.

Well we cannot categorically say it hasn't worked, because less than half off the offices haven't yet had a revision - take london for example - according to dingo 56 out of 108 offices have had revision and only 1 - yep 1- has failed.................I know but those are his figures.

Just becuse 1 out of 56 office revisions have failed does not mean the other 55 offices are not bringing mail and or packets back, to me this is a failure even if it is 1 or 5 or 55 packets or 500 letters PARK AND LOOP IS A FAILURE IT IS TIME TO END IT.

No.
It would be a failure if there are no volunteers to clear the cut-offs on overtime.
The "model week" system is designed to "fail".

If the model week has been set too low or there is insufficient appetite in a DO to "flex up" then an office will fail.
Duties being completed on o/t, either by the duty holders or volunteers, is not a sign of failure, it's how the system works.

I bet any packets / letter's left in our office will still be there in the morning.
