Re: Work To Rule
I always work through my break but I always have it at the end of delivery and go home 40 mins early, the moment we are told we cant go early is the moment I start taking my break before going out. Does this make me a bad person?kingtubby wrote: There are always going to be a few that start early, work through breaks and so on.

You can have your break any time you want as far as i care as long as you have it and don't come in early or work over without pay!.mrlovepantsuk wrote:I always work through my break but I always have it at the end of delivery and go home 40 mins early, the moment we are told we cant go early is the moment I start taking my break before going out. Re: Work To Rule
the union have been running the "do your job properly" campaign for 3 years now. how many people adhere to the rules set out by royal mail? in my office of 120+ staff, 15 people do it. it must be the same all over the country.....kanuuuuuu wrote:I think the CWU like us to do what they call "doing your job properly" which everyone should do all the time anyway, however, how many people actually do this ? thats the problem, people dont stick to it after a few days therefore the need for strikes. The more of us who do our jobs properly the better tho and the message would get back to RM that some of their revised targets are unmanageable.

Soon they the other 105 will regret it in their toil and sweat and commitments that will be not available to them!.Grantyboy wrote:the union have been running the "do your job properly" campaign for 3 years now. how many people adhere to the rules set out by royal mail? in my office of 120+ staff, 15 people do it. it must be the same all over the country.....kanuuuuuu wrote:I think the CWU like us to do what they call "doing your job properly" which everyone should do all the time anyway, however, how many people actually do this ? thats the problem, people dont stick to it after a few days therefore the need for strikes. have a job to get there on time let alone go in early unless I have to be somewhere and that is only by agreement. and never work over without pay, book at least a hour a day.
