Yeah agreed.yellowbelly wrote: ↑05 Jun 2026, 10:52And the s**te that Amazon dump on us because their algorithms from previous deliveries have told them it's down a long farm track, difficult to identify or awkward to get their massive vans down a tight lane. More profitable for them to give that to us so they can deliver (doorstep) 20 parcels on a residential street in the time it would take them to do one farm delivery.
But people must notice the difference in volumes simply by seeing pictures of other offices on Robin etc. There’s places still using small grey sacks to sort parcels into, whilst others have sleeved yorks - plural - full. Not to mention the changing from single to double slots that has been common in some places for 10-15 years but only a new thing elsewhere.

Re: USO Change Implementation
Mid December I would have very nearly 100 Tracked myself and my partner would have the same in parallel, and a full york of T48s would be sitting in the office. So, yeah, 300 is very plausible. Just a few days ago some duties were approaching 200. Not a chance they could introduce Summer Lapsing now.
The machine stops.

Yep, especially when a frame has over 1,000 calls and is nearly all double slots, staff have an uncanny knack of putting the letters in the wrong place which means you are either going backwards and forwards down the street or flipping through the bundle and correcting it on the fly so you don't have to.
As for D2Ds, I know a few staff put them ALL in the frame before the start of the week. I really don't know how they find the time.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.
