Firstly CCR you missed out the other revelant part of my post in answer to another.

TWO WRONGS DONT MAKE A RIGHT.

And as i have said numerous times the D2D thing is not the worst part of agreement for me.
This ain't no baseball game, you get only one chance and you blew it.

LOVEJOY are we going to lose this supplement in 3 years? If we are why not put the 20.60 into my 40 hours so I never lose this money.

"Winners and Losers" ?.
But there were winners and losers in the payment per item system.
This is something conveniently overlooked by those that were in the winning position.
Wrong clash - you were paid for what you did - you delivered 600 you got paid for 600, you delivered 200 you got paid for 200 - now you have the situation where you deliver 600 and get paid £8 - you deliver 200 you get paid yep spot on £8 - now try as you might to point out that you could have a delivery with 800 drops and one with 400 drops - but that is what it has always been, now D2D was an additional payment which was fair and ESA was an earned payment and now evryone gets it - there should have been a ring-fence on the money and that should have been paid to THOSE WHO HAD EARNED IT under other agreements and they should have been given a lump sum representing that amount - pro rata of course.

To discriminate against part timers for pro rata payments for D2D is shameful.

Well I can't tell you how many will be saved but the projected job losses is 24,000 - add that to that those who will leave the union if this goes through and it will be quite difficult to see how this union can survive financially even cutting costs to the bone - unless of course their finances will be put on a more secure footing.....mentioned in the agreement. I mean they are reported to owe RM £10 million now....................

Could have posted it 24,00 times once for each member lost - however I do seem to be having a problem here - Lovejoy seems to be carrying on a conversation about my posts that I haven't been invited to and I have been blocked from the site for the best part of 20 minutes.

I was blocked too and it was posted long before the site went down..... which is why lots of people have commented as you could have. If you read my reply to you 'what would happen if we voted no' post earlier you would have noted that I said i would reply in another thread so I didn't push the other one off subject as per the wishes of the mods.

Bloody hell the CWU are desperate now. Getting £8 a week for RM for unlimited D2D's was harder than negotiating a cease fire with the IRA. :chuckle

Yes lovejoy they have bothered to read the agreement and where the D2D payment has stopped and been replaced by an inferior product I think they have every right to:

a. Complain they are losing money
b. Equate the new payment - which is pro rata by the way - to the old payment for D2D - not doing them yourself you probably don't quite understand the nuance
