Easiestt day at RM if Im honsest
Got in for 7am spent 1hr sorting then we only threw 1st class stamped mail into the fitting then took this out, I can honestly say I had less than 20 letters, no packets at all!
Now the office that delivers to my house must of took the whole lot as I got my normal mail.

Re: sat 27th
We had as much mail as any other Saturday really, mostly 2C PPI. But hardly any packets so it wasn't too bad. Twice the normal amount of MS3 sat there for Monday though and they want us to lapse duties mon-tue-wed next week :(

Re: sat 27th
Been ill since my day off xmas eve thanks to the people coming in sick over the last couple of weeks
.So i missed today and i dont expect to be back until tuesday at the earliest. The threat of not getting a xmas bonus if you go sick over xmas pressure just means people that should'nt be in work just spread the germs around. We had 13 ill on one day.Maybe they should do what schools do and stop people coming in for at least 48hrs,yeah that will happen!!
Luckily my wife and kids didnt catch it and they had a great xmas.

The room of doom is the callers office - so called because its undermanned, under resourced, has long queues and moaning customers - hence the title.Ricky Bruch wrote:Sounds like fun, is that the kill offs room or serving the general publicTrueBlueTerrier wrote: It sounds like it apparently our MC failed- still better than being in the room of doom which is where I was headed till they told me I was back on my walk instead,
