Hence why loads are damaged when they arrive. Machines at the Hubs picking up Yorks and tipping the contents on top of others.

Are the york labels white and purple? If they are then they've probably come from one of the superhubs.

Loads of larger Amazon boxes - the size of three to four shoebox size......TopperGas wrote: ↑28 Jun 2025, 20:19We've had so many across our DO this week it can't be due to the odd driver being off, I did ask a regular customer who usually delivers her large Amazon parcels and she said Evri!!kazardaimenu wrote: ↑28 Jun 2025, 19:44Loads more Amazon heavy boxes. Maybe a few of their drivers are on annual leave.
Thought PF were going to take larger boxes, local PF driver I spoke to says they're short of work!!

Loads of times we've had the big Amazon boxes where the moment you go to pick them up, the contents immediately fall out the bottom of them. Some of them are heavy enough that they could do with a couple of bands of strapx going in each direction.kazardaimenu wrote: ↑29 Jun 2025, 09:23Yes and those Amazon boxes ain’t made of strong stuff as it is!

After a certain weight a couple of strapx bands should be mandatory.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑29 Jun 2025, 09:34Loads of times we've had the big Amazon boxes where the moment you go to pick them up, the contents immediately fall out the bottom of them. I’ve lost count of the number of heavy Amazon parcels that either the bottom falls out of them when you pick them up or the sides split open and lose some of the contents from inside them.

Whoah, that's a third of a pence per packet. There's dividends to pay out, pal.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑29 Jun 2025, 09:34Some of them are heavy enough that they could do with a couple of bands of strapx going in each direction.

When one splits open it's usually 28 cans of Cola or a load of bottles of J20, we're basically delivering supermarket shopping, one of my customers now as a bag of car litter delivered weekly from Amazon, which is almost as heavy as a bag of cement!

Re: Parcels through the roof!!
At least since around a week or two I have noticed an uptick in volume of amazon larger boxes, most of them with blue amazon prime tapes, so something is definitely happening. Most of the stuff was heavy and bulky. Really annoying especially when a customer is surprised to see a postie delivering it, they always go "oh I was expecting an amazon guy". There you go I am an undercover amazon delivery guy. I have been for at least a year or two, they may as well give me their uniform

I had to deliver some of that cat s**t, the bag split in the box then the box started shredding. No one home had to find a spot to leave it and go. Left a little trail of it from the van

Re: Parcels through the roof!!
Took two heavy boxes of which you describe to one address. Amazon had already abandoned one slightly smaller at the front door for all to see. Took my two to the 'safe place' shed.
