You seem to forget,a hellva lot of part timers won't be getting anything like that.
- because a hellva lot of part timers won't be working anything like 39 hours a week.
Most of our part timers are doing more than that this time of the year. And with no chance of being made up to full time either, still as long as you get it why should you bother about anybody else.
Them not getting made up to FT is not the fault of anyone on here. Its the fault of management, and if you feel so strongly about it why don't you, and others of a similar vein in your Unit do something about it. Action speaks louder than words.

but since I was reminded of this pro rata,,,,,i have a "concern",,,i am full time,,,i prep mine and my part timers walks in a morning,,,,i am expected to have it all ready in the time before he starts,,,,he then comes in to work,,,is paid 6 hrs a day,,,,were on a 4 hour delivery span,,,,,simple maths say 6hrs pay,,,,4 hrs delivery,,,,?

part time,,,,and for that matter full time in our office come in on time and finish at the finishing time,,,,so no extra hours at our d.o
unless your offered overtime

now im off to get my tin hat on.....
You must be the exception to the rule then, well done most of our p/t come in to find only the seq mail has been thrown in and they still have loads to do.

I know it's not the fault of anyone on here, all I am doing is pointing out that when most people are saying that they are going to get £300,p/timers aren't,and as for actions want do you want me to do,maybe kill a full timer so there is a vacancy prehaps,or report a full timer for something so they get the sack

Dingo wrote 6th november In regards to the £300 it was already in the first offer and was part of the discussions on the replacement to colleague share so it will still be there under the improved offer , the question will be is this improved on. Equally it will be paid to everyone and will not be a bribe

Management are happy for the staff to be arguing amongst themselves,it takes the pressure of them, divide and conquer that is why in our office and maybe yours some walks are ridiculously easy and others are completely bonkers.

Simple as don't do overtime till they come to an agreement or stick to the ones they are ignoring. Especially useful at Christmas when and if you have a Christmas agreement.

As to the pointing out pro rata - everyone knows and there are argument on both sides of if its fair or not. But to expect people to mention it EVERY time they post about bonuses and supplements seems a pointless exercise. Should we also at the same time mention the fact that tax and national insurance will also reduce the actual amount that reaches our bank accounts.

I don't expect it to be mentioned every time, you are missing my point which was that while they are moaning about only getting x amount some people have to make do with a lot less.
