It may well be written in the USO legislation that hasn't been altered since the end of the second delivery in 2003/4 (take note "USO reform") which would explain why it persists despite the obvious problem it now consistently poses.TooManyLoops wrote: ↑19 Jun 2026, 16:26It used to be by 12pm (iirc) and moved to 1pm because all deliveries used to be completed by 12:30pm.
Is the timed version a USO thing?

Re: Specials - management instructions
Problem with that is a customer complaining their property wasn't inaccessible, as they can now submit feedback instantly on the app as soon as the notification appears.Walter sobchak wrote: ↑19 Jun 2026, 12:03Scan as inaccessible before 1pm and then re-scan them when I reach the customer’s door for years and nothing said.
Whatever happened to the non 1pm Specials as I've never even seen one of those for ages?

Tell your manager to put it in writing. Once they do dated and signed report them to HR.

Re: Specials - management instructions
That’s a load of rubbish. If the customer can’t be bothered to be in knowing a special is on its way that’s their fault. P739 it and bring it back if no reply. Your manager won’t back you up if it goes missing. By the way that goes for everything you can’t get rid of, parcels, tracked etc.. It’s your job on the line if it goes missing. Don’t worry about tearing round to finish of it means going off route to do them so be it.
