Isn't the term 'full time' for the 'new' 35hr contracts the 'description' of their role rather than anything more meaningful?:
2. Employees on the new 35hr contracts will be listed on PSP as full-time employees but using a different position code to that used for our full-time employees on 38hr contracts.
And the won't the same procedure as has just happened with the revisions and pay rise
occur during the progression down to 35hrs for 'proper' F/T'ers.
i.e 'normal' P/T'ers plus the 'new' 35hr F'T'ers get a pay rise when 'proper' F/T'ers have a reduction
in hours until both 'proper' and 'new' F/T'ers are at 35hrs?
