Thanks to anyone who can help with this in advance. :-)
Today I posted some mail to the USA with the Post Office. I asked the woman at the desk which service would be best. The first thing I told her that it was to a PO Box address - and she gave me two services. So I was able to track it, I chose AirSure. It goes off fine, I track it, and it says it has reached the mail centre and is now "DESPATCHABLE TOHWDC AIRSURE ".
However, I go onto the website of Royal Mail and it says that you can't use this service for PO Box addresses. I am annoyed now because I made clear what I needed, and this is just causing complications. Are they responsible for dealing with this matter and does anyone with any experience working there have any idea what they will propose to do when I call them about it - if there is a usual way of dealing with these sort of problems.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Airsure to the US is kind of a lie anyway, they simply treat it as normal first class mail and don't track it past landing.
If it doesn't arrive, you complain to Royal Mail, but as pointed out if you want to complain about incorrect advice, go to Post Office Counters
