Post by Motherwell18 »

Has anyone else applied to these locations and been given any word yet?
I thought I would have either had a confirmation or rejection by now.

Fri, 16 Oct - Uploaded documents to uCheck :"Your Christmas Casual Application".
Sat, 17 Oct - Received email: "You Have Successfully Submitted Your Christmas Casual Application".
Fri, 23 Oct - Received email: "Christmas Casual Invitation to Document Check".
Wed, 28 Oct - Received glitch email: "Reminder - Royal Mail Invitation to Document Check"

Haven't heard anything since.

Hi,

I am due to start in Eurocentral on 30/11. When I check the postcode I was provided (ML1 4GP) on google maps it shows up as ACS Clothing, I took a drive out today but couldn’t find any RM buildings. Does anyone know the exact location at Eurocentral and if there is parking available on site?

Thanks :)

When I did shifts at Eurocentral they were at the Langdon's Industries warehouse on Coddington Crescent.
I don't know if that's still where it's being held, but I think I remember them moving somewhere else.

Did you apply through Royal Mail, Angard or another agency?

I applied for Wishaw but my application got withdrawn in error so i applied for Eurocentral and started on the 9th (was brought forward a week). A friend who has been there every year with myself also applied for Wishaw and never even got a reply to have his documents checked.

How long ago did you apply?
Was it through Angard or Royal Mail?

My application said only to apply to one site, and if I was needed elsewhere they would move me.
And after a few years working at Wishaw I can't really be bothered with the longer drives and people driving towards you without turning off their high beams.

I applied for Wishaw on the 27/8 , Document check on the 1/9 then got an email saying my application was withdrawn on the 29/9. Emailed them but also applied for Eurocentral on the same day.

A few emails back and forth in regards to the withdrawn application (which they admitted it was an error on their behalf) i got an email inviting me for another document check (for Eurocentral) on the 21/10 along with a response about the withdrawn application saying i had 2 applications in progress and only 1 can go ahead so told them to keep the Eurocentral one. Then on the 23/10 i got a Job offer to start the 16/11 but on the 7/11 i received a text asking me if i wanted to start the 9/11.

This is directly through Royal Mail , although there is Angard staff up there aswell. I done Eurocentral in the old DHL building back in 2012&13 then went to Bathgate up until last year where the outhouse moved back to Eurocentral

Thanks.
I thought I applied on the day the email notifications went out but I guess that was still too slow.

I'll see what happens...
