Afternoon,
I'm looking to transfer out of my current depot as I am intending to move in with my partner. I applied for a job local to where I'm moving through Success Factors, did the assessment but have just received the rejection e-mail. I've worked for Royal Mail for 8 months, love my job and just want to work closer to my partner. No way of getting feedback in the e-mail and the depot number is just the standard 0345 number. Is there any point going into the enquiry office and dropping off my CV or do you think I just need to wait for another job to come up?
Thanks in advance,
Alf

Think it’s 12 months before you can transfer.

It is 6 months. I went to see the manager at my local DO to ask about transferring. Maybe try that.

Might be worth contacting the DOM at the office you hope to move to.

Perfect, thanks for the responses! I spoke to my manager at my current depot today who said something along the lines of 'it's who you know' so will try to get in contact with the DOM at the depot I would like to move to!
