strange pay in manchester

Just looking through royal mails website in the job section out of curiousity and found this:

Job Description

Do you want to work in a fast paced busy environment? Are you able to work well under pressure to achieve tight deadlines while remaining calm and focused?

Parcelforce Worldwide are now recruiting Indoor Sorters. Your duties will include loading and unloading vans, moving lorries and scanning and sorting parcels.

Contract length: Temporary (6 months)

Hours of Work: 40 + hours per week, 5 days across Monday-Friday, 23.30-07.30

Length of service Pay
First 6 months £1252.29 :left:
£1382.87

wtf is this a typo or is this monthly pay, its just they always show pay for weekly or am I missing something. Would comute to manchester for this if weekly pay lol.

I think you'll find that it's for 6 months not 1 :d'oh! (just RMs new way of working, if you don't finish the 6 months then you get NOTHING) :cry

Parcelforce are paid monthly and after 6 months it works out at about £320 a week!. :shock:

just over a grand a month, 250 quid a week, for full time just over 6 quid an hour, which is just slightly over minimum wage lol
