Tax avoidance.

Not really the corporate tax swindle has been going on since moses was a lad. Probably 35 years ago a major company called Dewhursts had so much money avoiding tax, their annual contribution was a measly Â£10. What boggles the mind is that all these years later the rich still won't pay.

54 billionaires in the UK. Last financial year their tax payments on income averaged 0.02%.

Oh - and I believe Emma was quite a looker.

Trivia now of course but at the time it was big news, but you are right about selective memory sometimes I forget to get out of bed before ....................well I'll leave that to conjecture.

If this is the Dewhursts I'm thinking of, the bloke who owned it was well dodgy, and the owner of 1 of the biggest football clubs, if not the biggest in Europe.

If this is the Dewhursts I'm thinking of, the bloke who owned it was well dodgy, and the owner of 1 of the biggest football clubs, if not the biggest in Europe.

More than likely, they had a chain of butchers across the nation amongst other things - I think they did get their comeuppance though, I can't remember what happened to them.

I thought he was called Andy Hardy - but it makes sense him being handy seeing as he was in the next bunk - roll out the barrel lah lah lah lah lah la lah.
