It could be an idea for vulnerable staff who wish to continue to work.mags999 wrote:surely they would help with social distancing in offices where the 1st hour and a half are generally manic
Getting the work in early enough is the problem but I think most MC work plans are going to be torn up shortly anyway.

It's doable especially if walks started to fail due to people going off sick. All you need to do is get those that need to social distance in during the night to prep walks and bagged up and ready to be loaded into the van for the off once duty holders comes in.
A bit of common sense and a little brain power to work out the finer details so it runs smoothly but it would help alleviate a lot of the anxiety and panic that seems to be going on in a lot of DO's.

To get the work in earlier on night shifts will mean it'll have to leave the outward MCs earlier, so shifting the social distancing problem onto them. The only way to fix it in MCs would be to move dispatch times back a couple of hours so that MC-DO runs are a couple of hours laterWoody Guthrie wrote:It could be an idea for vulnerable staff who wish to continue to work.mags999 wrote:surely they would help with social distancing in offices where the 1st hour and a half are generally manic
