POLICE in south Belfast are appealing for information following the theft of two bags from a Royal Mail van.
The robbery took place on Adelaide Street yesterday afternoon.
Two youths were seen making off in the direction of Alfred Street after stealing the mail bags from the van at 4.50 pm.
Police are especially keen to speak to the motorist who reported the incident.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 08456008000 or crimestoppers anonymously on 0800555111.
