Iv noticed on my payslip I’m being taxed around 65 a week surely this can’t be right I’m on around 28.5 hours a week?

What’s your tax code?
I am much the same, paying around £25 a week more than I should. I have still to get a final wage from my previous employer so my code is being split between 2 employers. I’ve been told by HMRC that it will sort itself out once I receive my final pay and P45.
Perhaps you have a similar situation?

I phoned HMRC and they sorted it out for me. You can do an online chat with an advisor too if you prefer
