I went for an interview on Wednesday which I thought went really well but I've just received the email saying I was unsuccessful and can reapply in 6 months.
I was made redundant from my graphic design job last year, which is a difficult industry to get in to so I've been looking elsewhere too, including the NHS. I'm pretty gutted I can't get a job as a postman and wasn't even successful enough to go on the waiting list.
I did loads of research before my interview including using this forum and answered every question really well. The manager who interviewed me even told me the process of what happens afterwards like security checks, references, going on the waiting list etc. I really thought I was in with a good chance from what he was saying and we got on well.
Does the manager who interviews you do the scoring as well or is that given to someone else to mark? How can I get feedback on why I've not been successful?
On the test I just missed submitting one section but I'm fairly sure I got all the others correct. Surely if I had failed this then I would not of got the face to face interview as that is just wasting everyone's time.
