Payroll/Uniform ordering.

Hi guys,

Started with RM yesterday with induction and first day in my DO today. All good so far, but when I call to order uniform and give my payroll number the lady said I’m not yet on the system but may be by tomorrow. So I called HR to make sure everything is ok, but then the man on the line told me it will be weeks before I’m on the system!

I’m confused as I thought I would be able to order uniform once I have my payroll number?

And also, will I still get paid this Friday?

I may be worrying about nothing, but I want to make sure everything’s alright.

Have tried to order online but won’t let me login to dimensions (probably because my payroll number isn’t on the system yet).

Hi there !

I started with RM last Monday, 14/01/19.

From my personal experience if you have a payroll number you're a RM employee and should be on the system ? Seems bizarre.

With regards to payment i can confirm i did get paid in my first week.

So finally I can login to order my uniform... and it’s only letting me order shoes and a high viz vest

Guess I’ll phone them tomorrow and go from there!

I start on 31st and had my contract through today and phoned and ordered mine.

You can only order items online once you have been with them for 6 months is what I was told when I phoned

Hi, if you phone the ordering line, you'll be able to get 5 shirts, fleece, trousers and shoes.
