It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I spoke to two reps in our office before christmas, one of them is a senior rep and neither of them have mentioned it again.I suggested we should be having a whip round to give the postmen in our office who dont have computers etc the chance to help our colleagues out and was told'it could be seen as secondary picketing'TrueBlueTerrier wrote:Right - will make sure local rep is aware and we will send some dosh to help the fighting fund.

SHAME ON YOU CWU. well done to the burslem postmen for taking a stand.

Picketing involves standing outside yours or somebody elses workplace, I've yet to see it defined as collecting money!Barry Trotter wrote:I spoke to two reps in our office before christmas, one of them is a senior rep and neither of them have mentioned it again.I suggested we should be having a whip round to give the postmen in our office who dont have computers etc the chance to help our colleagues out and was told'it could be seen as secondary picketing'TrueBlueTerrier wrote:Right - will make sure local rep is aware and we will send some dosh to help the fighting fund.
