Post Office has appointed Amanda Jones as retail sales director.

Jones joins from Conviviality where she held a number of senior roles, such as chief operating officer, customer strategy director and sales optimisation director.
Prior to Conviviality, Jones was chief operating officer at Nisa.
Debbie Smith, chief executive of retail at Post Office, said: “Today’s Post Offices operate in competitive environments, and Amanda brings a wealth and breadth of retail sector experience.
“She will play a valuable role as we continue to modernise and grow our business, and ensure Post Offices matter even more to customers and communities across the UK for many generations to come.”
Jones added: “This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a commercial business with a social purpose. Community will always be central to the Post Office but with an increasingly commercial edge that will benefit customers. I look forward to contributing to the Post Office’s plans to develop its network and enhance its retail proposition.”
