Which day is the cut off day for pay?
I've only just done my first shift in the delivery office today. Including my induction day, I've done about 12 hours work. I got home to a payslip that says I've done 14 hours. I'm not complaining but does anyone have any idea what's going on?

The cutoff for overtime pay is a Tuesday. We’re paid for the same week we’re working, no lying time. Presumably your on a 30 hour contract? So you’ll have been paid 6 hours for today and 6 hours for tomorrow, and your induction day will be paid as overtime next Friday. Make sure your manager knows how long your induction day was as the cutoff for him to process it is next Tuesday.blobneb wrote:I've only just done my first shift in the delivery office today. I was about to make this EXACT post word for word!
First day in DO was today, did my induction yesterday and I got home to find a payslip with 16 hours on. I'm on a 24 hour contract.
