Notice period at current employer

Post by Rogermoon »

I’m currently in the security check part of my application and just wondering when I should hand my notice in to my current employer? would this be after the pre employment checks are completed? As the process takes 14 working days and it would be a further 2 weeks for my notice period and I’m unsure if they will wait longer for me to join. Thanks for any help

At some point in the process, they should ask you how much notice you need if successful. This is so you can give notice to your current employer.
