Hi,
I recently applied for a postman job around 15 miles away from my house, I have just been interviewed a few days ago and am waiting to hear (I realise this could take a while)!
I've just seen another postman job come up much closer go my house, do I have to do the whole application and interview again, or do you think there's some way to transfer the interview notes or whatever over? Presuming it went well of course!
Thanks for any replies.

Hi, I asked about doing this and the answer was that you would have to withdraw your current application and start over with a new application.aco2796 wrote:Hi,

If the outcome of your current application was that you got put on a waiting list rather than be offered the job, then you could possibly still apply for your local DO if the vacancy was still open as part of that process.

Thanks for the reply, sort of what I expected but not ideal in any case! Did you end up withdrawing your application or sticking with it?Daveyj15 wrote: Hi, I asked about doing this and the answer was that you would have to withdraw your current application and start over with a new application.

As I had passed the interview I just stayed with my original application.aco2796 wrote:Thanks for the reply, sort of what I expected but not ideal in any case!
