Dear Colleagues,

The attached slide has been appearing on the RMTV plasma screens in Royal Mail Offices over the last month and Jointly RM and CWU are continuing to seek support from dog attack victim members to participate in Dog Awareness Week 2018 as case study volunteers.

If any ASR’s have any dog attack victim members who would be willing to volunteer as a case study for local press and media enquiries and interviews during Dog Awareness Week, to support our joint campaign, please could they either fill in the attached word form and return it to Nick Burns (details below) or simply advise their local SHE Advisor of the details so they can do the same.

Bollocks .
Two weeks delivering to an address after a serious dog attack and not a word of warning from anyone. Total h&s protocol breakdown ;employee placed in the path of a known and serious hazard without any warning.
Area union H&S informed ;area management informed ; action = zero . So it goes on ,cos it takes to long to do a dart. Wonder how many serious attacks are completely avoidable?
Just to give an idea of the problem scale - 1 postie , three serious dog attacks over two years ,all reported ,no management action . RM corporate responsibility
