The Post Office has confirmed it remains ‘committed’ to the Aldwick branch and that the current closure is ‘temporary’.
A spokesman stated: “We understand and appreciate how much communities rely on our services and we apologise for any inconvenience caused by this temporary closure. “We would like to reassure customers that we want to reinstate services to the area as quickly as possible.”
It has been ‘temporarily closed’ since March 29 due to the retirement of the postmaster.
The spokesman added: “We are committed to maintaining a Post Office in the Victoria Park area and are advertising for a new postmaster.”
In the meantime they advised Post Office services can be found at Bognor Regis, Westmeads, Durlston Drive and Rose Green.
