Letter boxes

I started the job in October last year so far I am enjoying it,the thing that really winds me up is letter boxes.They are not fit for purpose .The old ones are far too narrow,the new ones have flaps you need to pull up and have to rows of brushes so you can not get mail in with one hand or you have the man trap brass stiff flaps that catch your fingers on the way out and of course the low lever one.I am sure this must have been bought up before, but in any other business you would have a design that would be easy to use .A simple two way flap wide enough for all. Mail would suit,Royal mail shoul design and sell.I almost forgot the cheap copper flaps with sharp edges you neeed to pull open that cut your fingers.I am sure if customers were aware they would change them.I have changed mine now that I am aware of the problem.

Until they will change them, try folding and pushing through without putting your fingers inside the letter boxes AT ALL.
You didn`t mention dogs, if you keep sticking your fingers through, you`ll going to loose them :(
