MP Frank Field and inquiry into Parcelforce ODS

The inquiry is on 16 February,,Parcelforce have been summoned to a Select Committee chaired by MP Frank Field.
Agenda is : what legal basis did Parcelforce have to change the ODs contracts 2 years into a 4 year contract,,was it a company directive ,or did local management act alone.,how do Parcelforce justify their charges to supply cover for when an OD is unable to work.,as it is a company directive for the OD to pay to get his own van liveried up in PF colours,explain why he is restricted from also taking work from another delivery company in the same post code area where he delivers to.,he is self employed,,isn't he??,,should be a very interesting meeting..
If Parcelforce local management have acted alone and are found to be in breach of contract,,then EVERY OD in every affected depot can bring a separate case against the depot manager,,for breach of contract,,loss of earnings,holiday pay,,sick pay,,ect,,should make it very interesting,
