The Post Office has been accused of letting down residents in rural villages in East Riding, leaving them without a promised service for months.
Councillor Jane Evison says villagers in Barmston and Rudston are battling to receive an outreach service they were told they'd receive when a local shop closed.
She's highlighting the issue at the East Riding Council's Full Council meeting on Wednesday:
"The promise was one half day a week that the post office would offer an outreach service a week in these villages, this just hasn't happened. It started off by people going and they didn't turn up, they didn't have what they needed to provide the service when they got there."
The Post Office have apologised to customers and say they're working to resolve the connection issues
