Oops. Bit awkward
A busy Plymouth road was blocked when a lorry driver attempted to make an ill-advised U turn.
Inspector Paul Laity of Plymouth B Section police tweeted a picture of the scene in Gdynia Way totally blocked by the delivery vehicle at 5.43am on Saturday morning.
It appears to show the lorry was heading out of Plymouth towards Embankment Road when the driver suddenly had a change of heart and tried to turn around.
Maybe he just loved the city so much he couldn't bring himself to leave.
Or maybe he remembered he had left the iron on.
Insp Laity said: "Oops. Gdynia Way earlier. Don't worry. B Section put safe diversions in place until he got recovered. #awkward."
The tweet was also accompanied with an eye-roll emoji.
