This residents are very much used to making lists and checking them twice; as they have their very own Father Christmas every year in the form of local postman Tony Christmas.
Postman Tony who was worked in the area for 15 years is based at the Saxon Way Delivery Office in Hessle, Humberside.
The festive season is one of the most demanding and special times of year for Mr. Christmas; who by his very nature (and name!) brings an extra dose of yuletide cheer to the local community with his card, letter and parcel deliveries during the company’s busiest period.
Tony Christmas said: “It’s an incredibly busy time of year for us so obviously my main priority is getting all the letters, cards and parcels out to my customers in time for the festive break; but it’s nice to be seen as a kind of local Father Christmas in Hessle!”
Jeremy Hartley, Royal Mail Delivery Office Manager, said: “All of our postmen and women are working extremely hard to deliver Christmas cards, letters and parcels to people across Hessle; however Tony has been helping us to add that extra festive touch within the community year after year.
