Damaged and Vague Strand – Recommendations and Progression

Dear Colleagues

Branches will be aware that LTB’s 724/16 and 003/17 provided information in regard to the Joint Review of Activity Value Analysis (AVA) in Processing and Admin and the review processes that were to be adopted in relation to the various functions concerned.

Following joint analysis of the opportunities to standardise the tasks, Category 2 activity in relation to the Damaged & Vague Strand has now produced agreed recommendations which are considered as appropriate to allow for local negotiations to commence.

Attached to this LTB is a Joint Communication that has been concluded which details the agreed recommendations and the process that should now be followed by Area Processing Representatives.
